Palate Cleanser: Cats and Dogs
That last post was kind of grim. So here are some kitties, doing what they do. And a dog that is the master of the stairs.

I would like to take issue with the title given this next video. This cat isn’t dumb. It just enjoys sticking its head under the tap. Don’t we all?
Some cats are more talented than others. Or at least more obsessed with treats.

Like our favorite sock puppet, I couldn’t stick the flounce. I had to come back to see if there were puppies, or kitties! (Thanks to Shadow too, on the other thread.)

At last, on a computer that shows videos. Much cheered with kittens and puppies and whales and giggling bubbies.
The first kitten isn’t dumb. Humans won’t jiggle the string, so kitten jiggles it herself! I hung a toy on elastic from the doorframe, and puss used to love grabbing, backing up and far as he could, and launching it the length of the hallway.
Cats have different drinking styles. Mine likes to soak her paw in the water dish. then lick it dry. She even has a dominant paw.
Dammit, that was supposed to say this was about the cat drinking from the faucet.
That cat knows how to drink. It also knows how it likes to drink.
Water on the head prolly feels nice, like patting.

I had a cat who did that. She drank exclusively with her right front paw.
The funniest thing was when she was done she’d flick her left paw - the one that wasn’t wet.
Faucet Cat may very well be The Best Cat. I would hang out with that cat.
